Regional Controller

Job Purpose

The Regional Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of multiple location and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting. Acting as a business partner to operational leadership, the Regional Controller drives financial performance, ensures compliance, and supports strategic decision-making.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for all assigned locations.
• Review and analyze financial results with operational partners and provide insights to VP Finance and other executives.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and forecasts.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

• Manage a small finance team.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
• Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate closely with operational partners to understand business performance and provide financial guidance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure planning across multiple locations.
• Drive financial process improvements to ensure controls, compliance, and efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate audits and respond to inquiries from external auditors.

• CPA designation is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Experience managing finance for multiple locations and leading small teams.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence non-financial leaders.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
