As an Associate Wealth Advisor, you will work with an Investment Advisor team and be responsible for providing proactive advice and support to our clients and the Investment Advisor, helping deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. Identifying new opportunities and helping to grow the business will be a key and exciting part of your role.

What will you do?

  • Provide support in maintaining client relationships
  • Coordinate wealth planning services
  • Manage and follow-through on wealth planning solutions
  • Assist with financial planning
  • Liaise with clients, team members and partners to find solutions and see things through to completion
  • Coordinate support and services throughout the client journey
  • Support client education initiatives
  • Quarterback marketing initiatives
  • Provide occasional support with trading & rebalancing

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO
  • Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE
  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT)
  • University degree
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-assured yet coachable
  • Personable, hardworking, self-starter
  • Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task and effectively manage multiple deadlines

Nice-to-have

  • 3 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Highly developed client service skills
