Position: Casual Labourer for Building Maintenance
Join the City of Belleville as a Casual Labourer, focusing on building maintenance and repairs. This temporary full-time role operates from the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre, offering a diverse range of tasks.

Reporting to the Facilities Supervisors, you will handle various building upkeep duties such as drywall repairs and cleaning.

Your role will blend independent work with team collaboration to enhance the facilities in Belleville.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain sanitation in meeting rooms and public areas

• Operate various city vehicles and machinery as needed

• Execute preventive maintenance tasks including plumbing and electrical repairs

• Repair and paint walls both inside and outside

• Complete other assigned duties aligned with city objectives

Requirements:

• Completed High School Diploma or equivalent

• Clean full class G Driver’s License is essential

• Experience in building repair and maintenance required

• Ability to manage physical labor and varying conditions

• Must own personal safety boots

Contribute to the maintenance and safety of community facilities with hands-on skills in this role.
