Facilities Casual Labourer

Join the City of Belleville as a Casual Labourer focused on maintaining facilities. You'll handle repairs and ensure cleanliness at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre while working various shifts.

This is a temporary full-time position within the Community Services Department, lasting from October 2026 to June 2027. The role involves external building repairs, drywall work, and painting. You'll operate city vehicles, various tools, and maintain high standards of cleanliness both inside and outside the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate city vehicles and construction equipment

• Maintain cleanliness in lobbies, washrooms, and hallways

• Perform drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs

• Repair and paint interior and exterior walls

• Work independently or as part of a team

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid full class G Driver’s License

• Experience in building maintenance and repairs

• Ability to perform physical labour

• Own safety boots mandatory
