Director of Facilities and Maintenance

We're recruiting for an experienced Director, Facilities & Maintenance to lead maintenance operations for a growing warehousing and distribution organization. Reporting to the Vice President, you'll oversee facility operations, preventative maintenance, capital projects, regulatory compliance, and the development of a high-performing maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all facilities and maintenance operations across multiple sites.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, capital projects, and asset reliability.
• Oversee maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with OHSA, TSSA, CFIA, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Lead emergency response planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and maintenance service providers.
• Coach, mentor, and develop the maintenance team.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of facilities or maintenance management experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment.
• Experience managing preventative maintenance programs, facility assets, and maintenance budgets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CMMS, PLCs, or industrial refrigeration is an asset.
• PMP certification is considered an asset.
• Willingness to travel as required.
