Experienced Facilities Maintenance Director

Elevate your career as the Director, Facilities & Maintenance in a dynamic warehousing and distribution organization. You'll be instrumental in managing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a talented maintenance team.

Reporting to the Vice President, you will oversee all facets of facilities management, focusing on preventative maintenance, asset reliability, capital projects, and maintaining budgetary effectiveness.

Your role will also involve driving team development and continuously improving operational practices, while managing external contractors and vendors for optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee facility operations and maintenance across several locations

• Direct preventative maintenance initiatives and capital project execution

• Manage maintenance budgets efficiently, seeking cost-saving methods

• Ensure adherence to OHSA and safety regulations

• Mentor the maintenance team for high performance

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in facilities or maintenance leadership

• Relevant post-secondary education preferred

• Proven experience with maintenance management tools

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Willingness to travel as required
