The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is seeking a part-time Caretaker I to work 1.5 hours daily during evenings. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring a clean, safe learning environment while utilizing various equipment and adhering to safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, caretaking experience, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the school premises

• Operate custodial equipment safely and effectively

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

• Communicate with staff and students regarding needs

• Report any safety hazards immediately

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 3 to 6 months experience in caretaking

• Knowledge of safety procedures and standards

• Ability to operate cleaning machinery

• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks
