Food Manufacturing Sanitation Specialist

GDI Services is seeking a Sanitation Specialist to support hygiene in a food production environment. You will clean floors using manual or power scrubbing equipment, handle waste transportation, and clean elevated areas. Training is provided, and candidates will be expected to lift up to 50lbs while working under varying conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dry and wet mop floors effectively

• Transport garbage from designated areas

• Clean overhead spaces using ladders and scaffolding

• Conduct preventative maintenance on cleaning equipment

• Follow all health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in food manufacturing sanitation

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to wear protective gear
