Utility Aide

Position: Utility Aide at County of Simcoe
Enhance resident safety as a Utility Aide with the County of Simcoe. This critical role involves housekeeping, maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations in a long-term care facility.

As a Utility Aide, you will support the Environmental Services Supervisor in maintaining sanitary conditions and ensuring compliance with the Ministry of Long Term Care. Your responsibilities include housekeeping, managing supplies, and assisting with resident moves. A commitment to quality service and attention to detail will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas

• Assist in inventory management and stock rotations

• Perform various heavy housekeeping tasks

• Carry out grounds maintenance including snow removal

• Support resident moves and equipment movements

Requirements:

• Completion of grade 11; equivalent education considered

• Minimum three months of housekeeping experience

• Strong communication skills and customer service focus

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks

• Criminal Records Check required less than six months old
