Structural and Plate Fitter

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at Mill-Fab. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience reading blueprints, operating machinery such as shears, press brake and plate rolls, and the ability to fabricate various layouts. This position requires the individual to work as a team member with frequent opportunities for overtime at various Plants within the Food, Paper and Petroleum industries.

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Operate shears, press brake and plate rolls.
• Layout and fabricate cones, offsets, square rounds.
• Layout and fit stairs and handrailing.
• Layout and fit structural steel.
• Be part of a team.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts and various lifts.
• Willing to work overtime if needed based on project demands.

• CWB Certified or the ability to pass CWB welding tests in GMAW, MCAW, FCAW.
• Minimum 5 years' experience.
• Proven expertise in working with the listed equipment.

• Competitive hourly wage $40.00 per hour.
• Overtime after 40 hours.
• Time and half for Saturdays.
• Double time for Sundays.

• Travel pay.
