We are hiring an Afternoon Production Associate at our Sofina plant in Belleville, ON.
- Shift Start: 12:30pm
- Start rate: $18.50
- Overtime opportunities
- Afternoon Premiums
- Eligible for benefits after probation
- Eligible for Pension Plan after 12 months of employment
- Tye and form stuffed products
- Assemble and disassemble machines as needed
- Retrieve supplies necessary for production
- Accurately weigh products and record weights
Hang products for cooking - Conduct inspections of products during production
- Deliver meat from the cooler to the stuffing table
- Accurately weigh injected ham using the provided scales
- Add spices according to work order specifications
- Operate tote tilters as necessary
- Weight carts and record dumping meat into the hopper
- Good English communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently
- Experience in a food processing environment is an asset
- Attention to Detail
- Willingness to learn new skills
- This position requires some physical effort
- This position requires normal visual / sensory effort
- This position requires working in cold environment
- This position requires standing for long period of time
- This position requires some lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50lbs
