Process Optimization Intern at Lactalis

Gain hands-on experience at Lactalis as a Process Optimization Intern this fall. Focus on enhancing workflows in natural cheese production and packaging while updating procedures and documentation.

This internship spans from September to December 2026, providing valuable exposure to production processes and optimization initiatives. Collaborate with Production Managers and multi-functional teams to capture process workflows and support training efforts. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in Food Science, Engineering, or Operations Management, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document and update procedures for cheese production

• Optimize workflows with production teams and leadership

• Create training materials for new processes

• Track action items and provide updates to management

• Participate in Lean or Six Sigma projects

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Food Science, Engineering, or similar

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Collaborative mindset in a fast-paced environment
