GDI is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for its operations. This full-time role involves safe forklift operation and maintaining cleanliness in the food production area. Key tasks include cleaning waste bins, mopping floors, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts safely to move materials
• Clean and maintain steel waste bins
• Wash and scrub floors using manual and power equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance on floor cleaning machines
• Maintain cleanliness of the production area
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in the food industry preferred
• Strong communication skills required
• Must wear steel toe waterproof boots
• Pass a criminal background check
