Registered Practical Nurse South Ontario

Join AFIMAC Canada as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for temporary positions in Southwestern Ontario. Secure $60 per hour and a daily meal allowance while residing away from home.

Candidates must be able to work 84 hours per week and may need to travel. This role focuses on providing exceptional personal care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing specific care plans, and carrying out essential nursing tasks. RPNs will be part of a team ensuring optimal client well-being and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with behavioral challenges

• Execute Individual Support Plans and Positive Behavioural Support Plans

• Handle nursing duties such as medication administration

• Maintain daily documentation and records

• Support residents in daily living activities

Requirements:

• RPN designation preferred; RN candidates welcome

• 1 year experience with developmental disabilities preferred

• Valid Basic Life Support certification

• Capability to manage crisis situations effectively

• Willingness to complete 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week
