Location: Brighton

Shape the well-being of older adults as a Registered Practical Nurse at Legacy Living in Brighton. Engage in meaningful work while promoting resident health and wellness.

This part-time position reports to the Health & Wellness Manager and involves delivering direct nursing care, including medication administration and routine health assessments.

Your role is crucial for fostering a supportive living environment that respects the dignity and diverse needs of each resident.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and emotional support

• Maintain accurate health records and respond to changes

• Collaborate on care plans and lead staff training

• Ensure a safe environment through effective risk management

• Foster independence and advocate for resident rights

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma focusing on gerontology or long-term care

• Current licensure with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least three years in a supervisory capacity

• First Aid and CPR certification needed

• Police Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check required
