Safety Coordinator

Position: Kruger Products Safety Coordinator Role
Location: Quinte West

Lead safety initiatives as a Health & Safety Coordinator at Kruger Products, Trenton, ON. Focus on compliance and culture-building to keep our operations safe and efficient.

In this pivotal role, you will engage directly with crews, providing hands-on coaching and monitoring compliance with safety procedures. Your expertise will support ongoing audits and facilitate immediate corrective actions to prevent incidents and maintain a safety-oriented culture. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure implementation of safety protocols aligned with OHSA and WSIB

• Perform audits and hazard assessments on the floor

• Analyze incidents with a focus on root causes

• Deliver feedback that promotes safe practices

• Cultivate a culture of safety ownership among staff

Requirements:

• Education in Occupational Health & Safety or similar

• 3–5 years’ experience in manufacturing safety

• Familiarity with Ontario OHSA and WSIB standards

• CRSP or CHSC designation is a plus

• Strong communication skills for cross-functional engagement
