Position: Quality Assurance Specialist at Ya YA Foods
Enhance food safety with Ya YA Foods as a Quality Assurance Specialist. This role involves maintaining HACCP plans, conducting audits, and managing consumer complaints in a growing food manufacturer.

Reporting to the Senior Quality Manager, you'll support various departments in understanding food safety system requirements. You'll update and reassess HACCP plans, conduct process audits, and monitor food safety compliance. With 3-5 years of related experience and a post-secondary education in food science, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist departments in food safety adherence

• Update and review HACCP plans accurately

• Maintain deviation log for food safety issues

• Conduct internal and external process audits

• Manage consumer complaint database and responses

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in food science

• Knowledge of food safety systems and HACCP

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• 3-5 years of work experience preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ERP systems
