Job Overview

Part Time Retail Store Tailor – Alterations position at Moores Clothing for Men, offering flexible hours.

• Provide positive input and valuable assistance throughout the entire customer experience.
• Assist in the selling process by greeting, interacting with, and responding to customer requests.
• Use expertise in alterations to mark, alter, and press garments.
• Ensure proper fit of garments and answer customer questions.
• Press garments and maintain open dialogue with management.
• Help other team members and keep the tailor shop clean and organized.
• Make sure customers are properly sized and offer new wardrobe ensemble suggestions.

• Formal training for tailoring preferred; experience as a tailor for menswear highly preferred.
• Strong technical skill and sound knowledge of various types of sewing equipment.
• Strong communication skills with a team attitude and enthusiasm.
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men's tailored clothing.
