AFIMAC, a global leader in elite security and investigative solutions, is seeking experienced Private Investigators in Ontario. In this role you will conduct undercover surveillance, social media investigations, corporate surveillance, interviews, and other related investigative tasks.
You will earn:
- $35.00 per hour before overtime.
- Hotel accommodations provided when required.
- $30 per diem when lodging is required.
- Contract length: 1–120 days.
As a Private Investigator specializing in undercover surveillance and investigations, you will gather intelligence, conduct surveillance operations, and uncover vital information for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct covert and undercover surveillance operations to gather intelligence and evidence in diverse corporate settings such as factory floors, restaurants, night clubs, and other types of locations.
- Utilize various surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects discreetly.
- Document and report findings accurately and comprehensively.
- Conduct thorough investigations, including background checks, interviews, and research; blending in and playing an assigned role is essential.
- Collaborate with team members and law enforcement agencies as necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all legal and ethical standards throughout investigations.
Skills and Qualifications
- Possess a valid Private Investigator license in the province of Ontario.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice within your home province to projects for extended periods (minimum four‑week commitment).
- Ability to work 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Able to sit, walk, stand, and/or drive for extended periods.
- Able to read, write, and speak English.
- Be a Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Previous experience dealing with confrontational situations and ability to de‑escalate with little to no supervision.
- Experience with the court injunction process.
- Excellent report‑writing skills.
- Bonus qualifications: experience in Policing, Military, and other relevant fields.
