Community Relations Supervisor

Become the Community Relations Supervisor for the County of Hastings in Belleville, Ontario. This permanent full-time role focuses on promoting housing programs and fostering community partnerships.

As a vital part of the Community and Human Services Department, you'll ensure efficient tenant and community relations, coordinate special events, and advocate for at-risk tenants. Your expertise will guide program delivery and reporting while strengthening collaborations among community partners, tenants, and housing services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with community partners to share housing program details

• Advocate for tenants’ needs with local agencies

• Create and distribute housing newsletters

• Organize special events for tenant groups

• Manage the community relations budget effectively

Requirements:

• Two-year diploma in social work or related field

• Minimum three years of frontline social work experience

• Experience with social housing and community services

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Knowledge of social housing legislation and issues
