Position: Senior Software Engineer at StackHawk

Drive security innovation with Stack Hawk in Denver as a Senior Software Engineer. Build essential tools for AI-assisted workflows that enhance developer productivity by finding and fixing vulnerabilities.

As part of a dedicated team, you'll own the agentic security loop, focusing on designing, building, and evaluating systems that integrate seamlessly into developers' environments. This hands-on role will see you making immediate contributions and collaborating closely with product, security, and engineering teams to create robust APIs and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design the find, fix, and verify agentic loop

• Build and own tool layers for coding agents

• Extend open source agent skills and capabilities

• Conduct context engineering to improve agent utility

• Create eval harnesses for non-deterministic systems

Requirements:

• 6+ years in production SaaS development

• Expertise in Java, Kotlin, or similar languages

• Experience with microservices and cloud environments

• Strong API design skills and automation commitment

• Proven track record with agent systems and evaluations
