Position: City Bus Operator Role
Become a Bus Operator with the City of Belleville!

Your role will focus on transporting passengers safely and efficiently, with a strong emphasis on customer service and professionalism.

In this casual role within the Transportation and Operations Services Department, you will be responsible for operating buses while navigating various shifts. You'll start and end your shifts at the Transit Terminal, ensuring buses are clean and safe for passengers. You'll also be interacting with the public, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve issues independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate buses on set schedules and varied routes

• Conduct vehicle inspections to maintain safety

• Prepare necessary reports regarding vehicle issues

• Ensure a clean and secure environment on the bus

• Address passenger inquiries during transit

Requirements:

• Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma required

• Valid 'CZ' Driver's License with a clean abstract

• Proven customer service skills necessary

• Ability to work alone on the bus

• Satisfactory Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
