Essential Job Functions:

Working out of the Belleville Branch this position is for an Energy employee to deliver Bulk Petroleum to our customers. Your goal will be to deliver petroleum products in a safe and efficient manner. Along with this, you will ensure customer goodwill and satisfaction and that delivery of the product is on time and meets customer expectations. You will also be responsible for daily inventory control, sales tickets and for the safe operation and maintenance of the delivery truck.

Above all, you will represent and promote the company in a competent and professional manner.

  • Ensure accurate safe transportation and delivery of Petroleum to customers.
  • Ensure safe loading of petroleum onto delivery trucks at 3rd party loading plants.
  • Ensure reliable and timely delivery of Petroleum based on the daily route schedule.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ensures that proper documentation is completed on all incoming goods and verifies the correctness of receipts against bills of lading or other records, checks for shortages, identifies damaged goods, etc.
  • Completes all assigned record-keeping duties, such as application records and declining balance, daily. Maintains a safe working environment and ensures all petroleum delivery procedures are strictly adhered to.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, college diploma, or equivalent, or a combination of experience and training to provide the required knowledge and skills.
  • Must possess a driving abstract that represents a history of safe operation, as well as the ability to maintain insurability. Must have a valid DZ license with air brakes and able to drive both a manual and automatic transmission and 3 years of experience driving.
  • Must have a proven history of Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
  • May be required to work extended hours, particularly during peak seasons.
  • Proven ability to work independently, and in a team-oriented environment, and achieve results through others.
  • Any prior experience with Bulk Petroleum delivery and Canadian Fuels License would be an asset.
