• Sets and drives the strategic direction for the accounting organization reporting to this role, partnering with other accounting leaders to align priorities, strengthen capabilities, and deliver consistent outcomes across the broader accounting function.

• Able to comprehend complex business situations and apply knowledge to advise accounting treatment

• Stay current on best practices and latest thinking regarding accounting treatment and financial risk.
• Clear and professional communications to a range of cultures and backgrounds

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 7+ years in a leadership role.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven experience with large ERP systems;
  Microsoft Dynamics or AX is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial controls, risk management, and compliance.
• Experience with automation in accounting processes, including the use of AI, RPA, or workflow tools to streamline operations and improve accuracy
