Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team in a contract position within our school setting in the Belleville, IL area.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome speech and language challenges, enabling them to communicate effectively and reach their full academic potential.

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA CCC
  • ISBE PEL (professional educator license)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and their treatment approaches.
  • Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and interpret assessment results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome communication challenges.
