- Part-Time Charge X-Ray Radiology Technologist (Weekend Option Pay - WEO)
- Location: 11133 Dunn Rd., St. Louis, MO
- Weekend Shift: Sat & Sun (8:00am - 11:30pm)
- Part‑Time (30 hours per week) Benefits eligible
- General Radiology (X-Ray Tech), OR, GI & Surgery
- Weekend Premium Pay: 50% extra on hourly rate for weekend hours!
- Coordinating staff, overseeing department duties and protocols, managing workflow, image correction, etc. along with standard technologist role duties, i.e. performing exams, OR coverage, etc.
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on‑call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
- Manages shift operations to include daily workflow, assignments, lunch schedules, and adjusts priorities and assignments to best meet department needs. Enters/escalates IT and equipment tickets.
- Serves as the clinical resource and expert for the technologists. Their responsibilities include but are not limited to: problem solving, assisting with difficult exams, and mentoring.
- Serves as the clinical liaison between the team and leadership team. Ensures that proper information is communicated from the team and escalated to the supervisor appropriately.
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- 2 years minimum as Registered Technologist required (5 years’ experience preferred)
- Lead Tech, Charge Tech, Senior tech, Lead Radiology Technologist, Supervisor, Senior Technologist, Radiology Department Lead, Chief IR Technologist, Radiology Supervisor
- Vascular Interventional Technologist, Special Procedures Technologist, neurovascular procedures.
