Business Architect​/Analyst

Job Description

T-Rex Solutions LLC is a leading business combining innovative Next Generation IT (NGIT) capabilities and skills to provide industry‑leading solutions to the federal government with a focus on cloud infrastructure and engineering, cybersecurity, and large systems integration. All work will be performed at Scott Air Force Base.

• Work as part of a special ops team to design and develop Proof of Concept solutions automating the creation and validation of Interface Control Documents, Enterprise Architecture artifacts and models, and Business Process Models.
• Prepare file defect reports and report test progress.
• Lead the root cause analysis and resolution of complex problems.
• Effectively and efficiently use all applications in the Microsoft Office Suite to create and deliver documents to support the USTRANSCOM Enterprise Architecture team.
• Lead change control and scope management efforts.
• Successfully identify, address, manage and accelerate risks and issues within a project.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of related experience.
• Able to recognize business process, organizational issues, and opportunities.
• Able to make basic to moderate Business Process and Organizational improvement recommendations.
• Able to participate in Business Process Mapping (BPM) sessions and document process flows in Visio or another relevant BPM tool.
• Self‑motivated, with some experience working in a self‑directed way in an ambiguous business environment.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations and presentations.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and be a team player when scope and direction are unclear and/or priorities are frequently changing.
• Able to lead simple to moderate complexity sessions to analyze, diagnose, and resolve unpredictable and varied problems using a variety of methods and tools.

• Experience with visual modeling and design tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect (EA) or Cameo.
• Experienced in communicating with and presenting to managers, senior managers, and director‑level individuals.
• Has participated in (or is able to participate in) a software, vendor, or product evaluation and selection process.
• Experience working with AWS and/or Azure.
• Can speak with authority and confidence about a system or process area and has worked cooperatively with management before to identify solutions to complex problems.
• Security+ Certification preferred.

Competitive base salary of $75,000 – $92,000, performance bonuses, training and educational reimbursement, 401(k) with company match, health, vision, dental benefits, paid parental leave, PTO available immediately upon joining, and more.
