As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Mercy, you will:

• Maintain professional accountability for the care of your assigned patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care with various departments.

Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flex/Float

Shift: Various Shifts Available

• $40/hour + Variable Shift Incentive
• W-2 Employee Status
• Minimum of 12 hours every 90 days
• Maximum of 30 hours a week (Sun-Sat)
• Choose from 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts

Required

Education:

Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.

Preferred Education: BSN.

Licensure: Must maintain a current RN license within the hiring state and meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Experience:

• One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med-Surg.
• Two years of recent specialty-specific bedside RN experience for other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.).

Certifications:

• BLS for Med-Surg, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health.
• BLS, ACLS for Critical Care.
• BLS, ACLS, & PALS for Emergency Department.

Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly, along with prolonged standing and walking.
