As a per diem RN , you will:

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver top-notch patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for your assigned patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care with various departments.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
• Perform your duties in alignment with our mission and values.

Location: Mercy Perry and surrounding Mercy hospitals

Department: GIG

Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flex/Float

Shift: Various shifts available

• Competitive pay at $40/hour + Variable Shift Incentives

• W-2 Employee status

• Minimum of 12 hours every 90 days

• Maximum of 30 hours a week (Sun-Sat)

• Choose from 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts

Required

Education:

Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program

Preferred Education: BSN

Licensure: Must maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Experience:

• One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg.
• Two years of recent specialty-specific bedside RN experience for ED, ICU, etc.
• Preferred Experience: Epic experience

Certifications:

• BLS for Med Surg, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health
• BLS, ACLS for Critical Care
• BLS, ACLS, & PALS for Emergency Department
• Additional certifications may be required after start

This position requires:

• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
