This is your chance to make a real difference in patient care across various departments, including Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical, at multiple Mercy hospital locations.

As an LPN, you will provide essential patient care under the supervision of licensed professionals. Your role will involve:

• Utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintaining professional accountability for your assigned patients.
• Coordinating care in collaboration with other departments.
• Upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flex/Float

Shift: Various Shifts Available

Please note that participation in the Gig Nursing Program requires flexibility and availability on short notice, as well as a commitment to a minimum number of hours.

As a GIG LPN, you will float between designated Mercy Hospital facilities of your choice.

• Mercy Southeast - Cape Girardeau, MO
• Mercy Stoddard - Dexter, MO

Required

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. You must maintain a current LPN license in the state where you will be working.

Experience:

• One year of recent bedside LPN experience for Med Surg.
• Two years of recent bedside LPN experience for other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.).

Certifications:

• BLS certification required for all departments.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required for Emergency Department.
• IV certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic software.

This position requires the ability to:

• Push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Stand and walk for prolonged periods during each shift.
• Grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to perform duties.
