Part Time High Risk Cardiac Nurse

Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, emphasizing patient and family-centered approaches.

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Educates patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
• Supports a healing environment by providing compassionate care and advocating for patient needs.

• Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Preferred experience in telemetry or cardiac care; prior supervisory experience is not required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness as this is a safety-sensitive position.
