High Risk Cardiac Clinical Nurse

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
• Participates in patient safety initiatives, quality improvement, and professional development activities.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients/families.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills for comprehensive assessments—physical, psychosocial, emotional—and considers patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional needs.
• Ensures effective communication across the care continuum.

• Educational requirement:
  Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensure:
  Valid RN license.
• Experience:
  
  No prior experience required; 2+ years of cardiac or telemetry experience preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Strong assessment, communication, and patient education abilities; safety consciousness.
