American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of telemetry experience and current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Acute care hospital setting within a Telemetry unit
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:45 AM-7:15 PM)
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float required between two facility locations within scope of practice
• Assists with bedside procedures including line insertion and thoracentesis
• Manages cardiac drips (no titration required)
• Uses EPIC charting system

• Active IL RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with cardiac drip management

• Provide telemetry nursing care including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Magnet-designated acute care hospital with 222 staffed beds
• Navy scrub color required
• No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed during the 13-week contract, with no RTO during the first week
• Standard travelers may stay up to 18 months, followed by a required 3-month break in service
• Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler to this facility
