Description:
The position requires a registered nurse specializing in cardiovascular operating room procedures.
Shifts are scheduled from 06:45 to 17:15.Block shifts are not guaranteed as shift times may adjust to accommodate surgical schedules.
If there are no open-heart procedures scheduled, the nurse may be assigned to other operating room responsibilities as needed.
Call shifts are required, including weeknights and weekends, with self-scheduling options within the open-heart team.
Nurses must be able to function in both a scrub and circulator role.
Experience in endovascular, hybrid, neuro-spine, ENT, orthopedic, and robotic specialties is advantageous.
Candidates accepted for the first travel assignment must have no less than two years of CVOR experience.
The primary assignment will focus on open-heart surgery, but the nurse may float to other assigned locations for various surgical specialties as required.
Nurses must be comfortable with and competent in surgical procedures and working independently with minimal orientation to surgeon preferences.
