Provides direct patient care on a 19-bed Medical/Surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Provides direct patient care on a 19-bed Medical/Surgical unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities supporting patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with collaborative goals, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.

• Required:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing and RN licensure.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.

No prior experience necessary; certification as RN. Strong communication, assessment, and patient advocacy skills are essential.
