Produce Clerk at Eckert's Country Store and Farms

Apply to join the Produce Clerk team.

Responsibilities include maintaining displays, assisting customers, ensuring product freshness, and following department and health and safety guidelines.

• Maintain a working relationship with the entire Country Store staff.
• Keep display areas stocked and rotate products according to product standards.
• Assist customers with product selection, preparation, packaging, questions and any other requests.
• Maintain department product displays and signage.
• Ensure merchandise in display cases is fresh, in saleable condition and properly priced with correct signage.
• Receive and inspect incoming products for quality and accuracy.
• Responsible for cleaning and trimming produce.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation and surrounding areas.
• Follow all guidelines and procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals and as set by the Country Store Manager.
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

• Communicate with Country Store Manager.

• Responsible for cleaning and trimming produce.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation and surrounding areas.
• Follow all guidelines and procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals and as set by the Country Store Manager.
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Knowledge: Job requires a high school diploma or GED; previous customer service experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities: This may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
