Security Officer – 2nd & 3rd Shift – Full Time – Fairview Heights, IL

Wage: $16.50-$18.50/HR

Pre-Employment Screening

Location:

141 Market Place (intersection of Jerome and Market Place), Suite 108, Fairview Heights, Illinois 62208. Call  for any questions (Press option for Sherrico or Adam).

Shift Availability

Will need to be available for 2nd and 3rd shifts including weekends and holidays. Monday to Friday and/or day shift positions are not available.

Security Officer

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in the State of Illinois.
• Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and walk up/down flights of stairs. This position is about 75% to 80% standing/walking.
• This position will be up to about 75% to 80% of the time outside.
• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record needed. This is a driving position. (All our positions include driver certification).
• Have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or be willing to complete the GED program within six months.
• Average computer skills needed, above average computer skills a plus.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, OR Military experience a plus!!
• Have reliable transportation (Public transportation is not available at most our various site locations).
• Have reliable working communication device (cell phone).
• Have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have great diligence and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid effective judgment and use proper de-escalation.
