Terminal Location: Union Pacific Dupo, IL Terminal, 3310 Carondelet, Dupo, IL 62239.
Responsibilities- Operate a jockey truck to maneuver 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis within the yard.
- Perform ground duties including climbing railcars, managing track locks, and handling Inner Box Connectors (IBCs).
- Assist in loading/unloading equipment with packer operators using hand signals.
- Participate in stacking/unstacking chassis and managing chassis racks.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- The position includes the duties of both a Hostler Driver & a Ground Person.
Glimpse of Daily Tasks
- Starting Pay: $18/hr.
- Annual Potential:
Up to $50,000 with overtime.
- 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM.
- 1:30 PM – 1:00 AM.
