Job Overview
The primary function of a Respiratory Therapist is to provide respiratory care to a variety of inpatients and outpatients. The scope of duty includes therapeutic, diagnostic, educational, and invasive procedures for adults.
Qualifications- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with current New Jersey license
- BLS Certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Day shift
- 37.5 Hours per week
- Full‑Time
- Help patients accomplish treatment plans and support life by administering inhalants and operating mechanical ventilators.
- Administer therapeutic gas apparatus, environmental control systems, and aerosol generators; perform bronchopulmonary drainage.
- Assist with breathing exercises; monitor vital signs, arterial blood gases, and blood chemistry changes; direct treatments given by aides, technicians, and assistants.
