Senior Estimator - National Multi-Family Construction

Our client, a leading company in the construction industry, is looking to hire a Senior Estimator. The Senior Estimator will play a crucial role in the company, preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects, managing the bidding process, and negotiating contracts with subcontractors.

• Prepare a WBS and written scopes of work by reviewing projects, breaking subsections out by division, and writing scopes to propose for bids.
• Generate ROM level pricing packages as well as fully estimated project budgets using takeoffs and cost data.
• Manage and facilitate the project RFP by creating a WBS and Bid Packages with assigned cost codes.
• Minimize scope gaps and overlaps, in estimated budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications for commercial multifamily and residential construction projects, which may include retail space.
• And other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field desired.
• 5+ years of experience as a project estimator in the commercial construction industry with multifamily experience strongly desired.
• 3+ years in a supervisor role managing others.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
