. Are you detail-oriented and passionate about ensuring accuracy in higher education compliance? We are seeking a highly organized and motivated State Authorization Coordinator to join our team! In this entry‑level compliance role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our institution’s adherence to state authorization regulations, National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) reporting, and veteran student requirements.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Process and maintain state authorization applications, adhering to all relevant regulations and NC‑SARA guidelines.
  • Submit timely and accurate regulatory reports to the National Student Clearinghouse and other governing bodies.
  • Manage student data within NSC, researching and resolving discrepancies to ensure compliance.
  • Proactively research and monitor changes in state and federal regulations, staying current on industry best practices.
  • Respond to inquiries from stakeholders regarding compliance procedures and regulatory requirements.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and higher education platforms (e.g., Campus Solutions).
  • Familiarity with compliance resources such as NSC, NSLDS, SHEEO, and NC‑SARA.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a technical or research-oriented role.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
