Under general supervision, of the Engineering Manager, performs designs of prestress/precast concrete products and associated plant designs as necessary, while meeting established timelines for completion of work and performing related work as required or assigned.

• the methods, practices, tools, material and equipment used in the work process

• code design criteria, record keeping and documentation procedures used in the Engineering process
• the end product, including its use and tolerances
• Coreslab policies and procedures relating to Engineering
• Engineering design principles and methods in reinforced concrete

• safe and efficient use of applicable equipment, machines and software used in the Engineering process
• design of precast concrete products and related hardware

• successfully direct a team of employees in the Engineering process
• follow oral and written instruction
• establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees
• communicate effectively and at an appropriate level for this classification
• maintain professional and technical expertise

While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or twist; talk and hear, see and focus.

Equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities of this classification. Must successfully complete and possess all required company training certifications. Possess or have the ability to obtain a Professional Engineering License in the states in which Coreslab does business.
