Tax Manager – ATAX Omaha

Location: Bellevue, NE (work performed at our Omaha office)

Pay: $90,000 – $115,000 per year (DOE)

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week); flexible, with some weekends during tax season

ATAX Omaha is seeking an experienced Tax Manager
. We are sourcing candidates in Bellevue, NE. Based in our Omaha office, you will help lead operations, ensuring high-quality, compliant tax preparation in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare, review, and oversee individual and business tax returns
• Support daily office operations and workflow management
• Mentor and assist tax preparers and support staff
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Serve as a point of contact for complex client questions or issues
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain accuracy under deadlines

• Experience in tax preparation, accounting, or financial services
• Prior leadership or senior preparer experience preferred
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Proficiency with tax preparation software (Drake Tax experience a plus)
