AT&T is hiring to support a US Government Program that provides IT Services to US Strategic Command located in Omaha, Nebraska.
Job Duties /Responsibilities- Consult with customers and clients on cybersecurity policies, procedures, governance, requirements, and threat/vulnerability management.
- Provide subject matter expertise for CSSP (Cybersecurity Service Provider) systems related to operations, sustainment, and modernization.
- Support the CSSP Infrastructure Manager in maintaining system architecture, including documentation of lessons learned, SOPs, artifacts, and Authority to Operate (ATO) records.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure secure system operations and enforcement of information security policies and procedures as defined in security plans.
- Implement, enforce, communicate, and develop security policies and plans for data, software applications, hardware, and telecommunications.
- Deliver security engineering, assessment, and oversight for weapon systems security supporting complex weapon platforms.
- Continuously monitor system resources using automated scanning tools and implement automated reporting feeds to support cybersecurity authorizations.
- Verify patch compliance using approved technical solutions.
- Participate in technical discussions, trade studies, and working groups; research industry best practices for potential adoption.
- Develop and maintain system security documentation, including SOPs, TTPs, and POA&Ms, through drafting, reviewing, editing, and recommending guidance.
- Perform shift work to guarantee 24x7 coverage and operational support.
Required Clearance: TS/SCI (#tssci)
Additional Clearance Requirements: Can start with TS (#topsecret)
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in network architecture or cybersecurity engineering.
- CISSP certification.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
- Experience supporting and engineering CSSP systems within DoD or similarly complex environments.
- ITIL v4 Certification
- Strong background in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with weapon systems security and compliance.
- In‑depth knowledge of system security documentation, including SOPs, TTPs, and POA&Ms.
- Expertise in conducting security audits and ensuring patch compliance.
- Proficiency in using automated scanning and reporting tools for continuous monitoring.
- Strong research skills and ability to analyze and implement industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration abilities for cross‑functional teams.
- Experience contributing to technical discussions, trade studies, and working groups.
Our CSSP Cyber Engineer SME's earn between $78,800 - $136,885. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geometry, experience, expertise, and education/training.
