AT&T is hiring to support a US Government Program that provides IT Services to US Strategic Command located in Omaha, Nebraska.
Job Duties /Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain network UAF (Unified Architecture Framework) models in support of USSTRATCOM’s secure network environment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain secure network designs and architectures.
- Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies and features relevant to USSTRATCOM.
- Brief USSTRATCOM management on new networking technologies at least annually, or as needed.
- Lead monthly technical status meetings, providing updates and recommendations on network performance, reliability, and security.
- Evaluate emerging network technologies and tools to enhance network performance, reliability, and security.
- Plan, design, and execute technical refreshes and upgrades once approved by management.
- Assist with ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
- Ensure all network architecture aligns with organizational security standards and compliance requirements.
- Perform shift work to provide continuous 7x24 coverage and cybersecurity support.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in network architecture.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
- ITIL v4 certification.
- Experience designing and maintaining secure network environments for DoD or similar high‑security organizations.
- Proficiency with Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) modeling.
- Strong communication skills for briefing technical information to management and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in evaluating and implementing new networking technologies.
- Experience leading technical meetings and managing technical refresh projects.
- In‑depth understanding of network security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Ability to develop comprehensive network documentation and status reports.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills in complex network environments.
Our Network Architect’s earn between $63,700 - $136,885. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
