Compensation and Bonuses

Signing bonus: $2,500 for new hires with conditions (new to ACG, 1-year payback if employment terminates before 12 months). Additional details provided by Recruiting Team at application time.

Average earnings: $57,097 - $87,085+ annually. Pay structure includes base pay and commissions; W2, non-exempt, eligible for overtime; unlimited commission potential; guaranteed elevated commission payout (first 15 months).

Supplemental pay includes weekly amounts for months 0-6 as described in the original posting.

Responsibilities
  • Sell and service ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within an ACG branch.
  • Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer needs to generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow the insurance book of business.
  • Overcome objections to close sales or retain the insured.
  • Meet or exceed targets defined in the sales incentive plan and goals assigned by leadership.
  • Conduct insurance reviews to identify suitable products, assess risk using underwriting guidelines, quote, bind and issue policies.
  • Participate in local branch events to solicit new business and expand networks.
  • Build rapport to establish customer satisfaction, loyalty, and affinity to the AAA brand.
  • Respond to inquiries related to insurance, memberships, and financial products.
  • Refer members to other lines of business as deemed appropriate.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
  • Current Life & Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments for selling/servicing Auto Club Group Membership products
  • Obtain Health and Accident licenses/appointments where applicable within the timeframe established by the Business Unit

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Work Experience:

  • 1+ year of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer-automated environment (e.g., financial/banking)

Successful candidates will possess:

  • Strong sales skills with ability to develop, track, follow up on, and close leads
  • Consultative selling techniques with thorough product knowledge
  • Strong prospecting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with strong customer focus
  • Ambition, motivation, and drive
  • Knowledge of CRM and Microsoft Office
  • Strong listening skills and ability to understand customer needs
Work Environment

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. 100% in-office position.
