• Drive a company vehicle directly from home to job sites in response to routine ticket requests, emergencies, and relocates.
• Utilize mapping tools and locating equipment to locate underground utilities, including electric, gas, telephone, and other communication lines.
• Indicate utility locations with paint, flags, and communicate relevant information to excavation personnel or other authorities.
• Respond to after‑hours emergency call‑outs per the rotation schedule.

• Computer skills
• Valid driver’s license in applicable state
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Subject to Vannguard’s Drug‑Free Workplace Program and pre‑employment drug screening
• Self‑manage and communicate with supervisors and clients in a timely manner

• Drive 50 to 300+ miles daily as needed within the geographic area
• Get in and out of a vehicle 50+ times a day
• Stand and walk lengthy distances (1+ mile) over uneven terrain in all weather
• Sit for long periods of time while driving
• Lift and/or move 50 to 150 pounds
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Driver’s License (required)
• Computer skills – 1 year (preferred)
• Utility locating – 1 year (preferred)

Full‑time

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On‑call
