• Provide day-to-day guidance to team members assigned to you.
• Ensure equitable distribution of workload among team members.
• Coach team members on how to safely and effectively complete assigned tasks.
• Recognize achievements and contributions of your team members.
• Facilitate effective communication within the team.
• Help the team navigate challenges and solve problems collaboratively.
• Ensure that work produced by the team meets quality standards.

• Support management with ad-hoc tasks/projects when required.

• Provide information to management regarding PIP s, absence management and performance management.
• Report any incidents and near misses immediately.

• High school-level education or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum 2 years  experience in a team leader role, within the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent leadership skills - active listening, strong communication, and coaching/mentorship skills that motivates team to reach daily goals.
• Experience with and/or knowledge of PIP s, absence management, and performance management processes.
• Target driven, with an understanding of KPI s and ability to motivate team to achieve them.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities with sound decision making skills to make judgement calls, if necessary.
• Demonstrated team player that exhibits a "One Team, One ABC" attitude and promotes safety-first approach.
• Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with in the automotive industry is an asset.

• Work in compliance with ABC Standards, EHS Policies, Local, Regional and Federal acts, bylaws, and regulations.
