Location: Bellevue, WA

Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site

Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 base salary

We are partnering with a mission-driven organization in the Bellevue area to identify a Staff Accountant to join our consulting team in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys being hands‑on, values structure and accuracy, and has experience working in non‑profit environments.

This engagement offers the opportunity to work closely with the client’s internal finance team while providing the potential to transition into a permanent, full-time role with the organization at the conclusion of the consulting engagement.

• Support day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and non-profit accounting standards
• Assist with fund accounting, restricted vs. unrestricted funds, and grant tracking
• Support financial reporting for internal stakeholders and external requirements
• Assist with audits, reviews, and financial documentation requests
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and documentation

• 2+ years of accounting experience, with non-profit accounting experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of GAAP and non-profit accounting principles
• Experience with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel (intermediate or higher)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working fully on-site
• Ability to adapt in a consulting-style environment
• Great Plains experience would be a plus.
