Entry Level Technician at Lithia & Driveway

Pay: $19 flat rate.

Schedule: Rotation including some Saturdays.

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience as an express/quick lube technician preferred, not required.
• Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road‑test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and test procedures/results.
• Maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools; return special tools to proper place.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace; complete daily stall cleaning.
• Ensure customer’s vehicles are returned clean.
• Complete all required training.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications.
• Participate in technical training as assigned.
• Review technical bulletins and other publications as assigned.
• Communicate constructively with dealership personnel as required.
• Report any safety or integrity issues to management.
• Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards.
• Adhere to work times designated by management.

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
